I have spent so many years covering up my face with foundation. I’m prone to break out and I have always had dark circles under my eyes. I’m always disguising what I look like as if the very idea of bare skin is offensive.

Skipping ahead here a bit, I love to make things from scratch. This is a recipe from MaryJane Butters, of MaryJane’s Farm fame— she’s pretty big in Idaho—who has a magazine abot organic living on a budget. More on that later.

The Fat Fallacy
Years ago, I started reading a book called The Fat Fallacy. One of those trendy diet books that claimed to know the reason Americans are so fat. This one in particular started the talk about Why French Women Don’t Get Fat.
